These Catalyst Blades and Wedges are made from a flexible silicone, giving artists a more unique tool than a simple palette knife or brush. Heat-resistant to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, these tools are perfect for using with encaustics. Designed for use with heavy-bodied paints, they excel with oil paints, acrylics, and water-miscible oils. The silicone easily wipes clean, and is solvent resistant, making cleanup a breeze with soap and water. Dried paint can easily be peeled off the silicone surface, and blades can even be separated from their handles for better cleaning, and replaced when dry. Blades are available in different sizes. Wedges are all one size.
