- Double gang security electrical outlet included with CAT6 ethernet connection. Connect your laptop or TV to the Ethernet port and power it on the same plate.
- Connecting Wires Methods: Push-in terminals OR Screw terminals. To avoid any worry or limits, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING THE SCREW TERMINALS (the places where you wrap the wire under a screw and tighten it down). Using the screws is safe for both 15 Amp and 20 Amp circuits (with the correct wire size for each).
- The outlet ITSELF is rated for 20 Amps, the LEFT slot (neutral) is shaped like a sideways letter "T" or "┴". This T-slot is only found on 20 Amp outlets. Tamper-resistant(TR) duplex receptacle design keep child safe, increases safety by preventing unwanted objects from being inserted into the outlets.
- For in-wall installation, help to hide wires in the wall. Fit with 2 gang low voltage mounting bracket(NOT INCLUDED).
- UL Listed Security power outlet, make sure the prongs hit the internal tabs at the same time.
